BOSTON, Mass. — Ray Joseph Henderson went to glory on July 8, 2013 in Boston, Mass. where he resided for 25 years. He was born March 13, 1963 to the late Edward Earl Henderson Sr. and Virginia Susan Henderson in Pine Bluff Ark. He was the grandson of Rev. James & Mrs. Ruth Henderson and Mr. & Mrs. Joseph and Cortez Washington.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include one brother, Edward Earl Henderson, Jr. (Cynthia); two sisters, Virginia Cortez Henderson and Alisa O’Neal, both of Pine Bluff, Ark.; one uncle, Joseph E. Washington (Dode) of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; three aunts, Mayotis Robinson of Memphis, Tenn., Mildred Wilson and Irma Oglesby, both of Pine Bluff, Ark.; three nieces; three nephews; three great nieces; two great nephews and a host of relatives and good friends.
Visitation will be at New Hope CME Church from 6:00 – 7:30, with family hour 5:00 – 6:00 pm. His services will be Saturday, July 20, 2013, at St. James United Methodist Church at 2:0 pm. Interment will be at Cedar Grove Section of Graceland Cemetery by the P.K. Miller Mortuary.
