Rachel Gullett

WHITE HALL — Rachel Marie Manes Gullett, 63, of White Hall, died Saturday, April 13, 2013.

She was born August 24, 1949 in Dumas, daughter of Bill, Sr. and Grace Kirtley Manes.

Mrs. Gullett was reared and received her early education in Dumas, graduating from Dumas High School. She graduated from Jefferson School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.

After graduation, she worked for Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Delta Memorial Hospital in Dumas and several nursing homes in Pine Bluff. She was currently the director of nursing for White Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Gullett was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gary Manes.

Survivors include her husband, Benjamin Gullett of White Hall; three daughters, Louise Wells (Robert) of Star City, Madonna Burns (Harry) and Connie Phillips (Curt), both of Pine Bluff; son, Buster Hunsaker (Rachel) of Redfield; two brothers, Bill Manes, Jr. (Carolyn) of Dumas and Scott Manes (Faith) of Thornton; four sisters, Ruth Ann Spivey (Dale) of Gould, Deborah Spradley (Ernest) of Oklahoma, Wanda Paschall of Pine Bluff and Becky Caldwell of Pine Bluff; 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening, April 16, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors.

A private memorial service may be held at a later date.
