RISON — Mrs. Patsy Miller Rawls, age 80, of Rison, died Monday, February 11, 2013.
She was born October 13, 1932, in Cleveland County, a daughter of the late Jasper Miller and Vera Roberts Miller. Mrs. Rawls was a homemaker and a member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing and spending time with her family. Mrs. Rawls was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Clement, a granddaughter, Holly Rawls, and a brother, Morris Miller.
Mrs. Rawls is survived by her husband, Calvin Rawls of Rison, whom she married on June 12, 1948; two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Linda Rawls of Rison, Rickey and Marsha Rawls of Conway; one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Dink Lybrand of Rison; one brother, Bill Miller of Little Rock; four sisters, Pebble Wallace of Little Rock, Dixie Alred of White Hall, Shirley Creasy of Pine Bluff and Jetta Stokes of Rison; 14 grandchildren, Marty Reed of White Hall, Jason and Patti Reed of El Dorado, Tony Reed of Benton, Brian and Jennifer Rawls of Bryant, Scott Rawls of Rison, Nicholas and Lynne Rawls of Rison, Sally and Justin Wendel of White Hall, Kyle and Melissa Brewer of Pine Bluff, Keli and Dana Boykin of Monticello, Kacy and Jason Bradshaw of White Hall, Keri and Robert Levecchia of Ward, Brad and Emma White of Conway, Whitney and Chris Moore of Ft. Smith, Zac and Krystal Holthoff of Fayetteville and 37 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Greenwood Cemetery with Brother Ronald Young officiating. The family will receive guests after the service at Mr. Rawls’ home.
