William Kermit “Bill” Haskins, 81, of Clearwater Lake Community, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012. He was born July 11, 1930 in Gurdon, Ark. to the late William Andrew and Beulah Fuller Haskins. Bill was a United States Army Veteran and received his Teaching Certificate and taught school for 15 years. He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church. Bill had worked at Carlton-Bates and at the Pines Vo-Tech School. He was a member of the advisory council for the Center Grove Fire Department.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Bernice Gentle; step-son, James Cook.
He is survived by his wife, Eunice Milam Cook Haskins, whom he married May 14, 1954 and were married for fifty-seven years; sons, Ronnie and Wayne Haskins; daughters, Betty Lackey and Anna Singletary; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, May 5, 2012 in the chapel of Cranford Funeral Home of White Hall with Bro. Mike Poye officiating.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

The family will be at their home in Clearwater Lake.
