RISON — Lewis Franklin Allred, Jr., 60, of Rison, Ark., died Monday, June 4, 2012, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
He was born July 25, 1951, in Pine Bluff to Lewis Franklin Allred, Sr. and Joyce Priest Allred.
He was reared and educated in Woodlawn, graduating from Woodlawn High School.
Mr. Allred worked 20 years at International Paper, before retiring from the General Yard.
He was a member of the Shepherd Hill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Franklin Allred, Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Belinda “Diane” Simms Allred, whom he married on July 4, 1992, in Pine Bluff; his mother, Joyce Allred of Rison; step-daughter, Jennie Reynolds of White Hall; step-son, Jimmy Reynolds (Tonya) of Rison; grandsons, Joshua Reynolds of Rison, Jaxson Rasor of White Hall; granddaughter, Jessica Reynolds of Rison; sisters, Sherry Miesner (Phil) of Rison and Janet Herring of Rison.
Visitation will be 7-8 p.m., Wednesday at Robinson’s.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Rev. Harold Chandler officiating.
Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Rison, Ark.
