WHITE HALL — Billie Ray Thornburg, 79, of White Hall, Ark., died Sunday, April 1, 2012, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
He was born December 8, 1932, in Nelagoney, Okla., to Samuel and Mary Arnce Thornburg.
Mr. Thornburg was reared and educated in Oklahoma.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
He had work as a supervisor over the construction of bridges.
He was a member of the VFW and was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister and three brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda Griffin Thornburg; sons, Rocky Thornburg of Pine Bluff, Rodney Thornburg of White Hall; daughters, Denise Babcock and Deborah Hilton both of Missouri; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
There will be no services at this time.
