Nancy Dockery, 64, of Pine Bluff, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
Nancy was born February 10, 1949 at Wheeling, West Virginia to Lottie Hodor Joudrey and the late John Hodor. She moved to Pine Bluff in 1953 and went to school at Pine Bluff High. She graduated from Virginia’s Beauty School and work in the cosmetology profession for a number of years. She later went into the retail profession and worked in a number of stores at the Pines Mall after they opened until she became disabled. She was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death her father John Hodor, her stepfather Ralph Joudrey, and a son Greig Allen Phillips.
She is survived by her mother Lottie Joudrey of St. Petersburg, Fla.; her husband of 25 years, Sam Dockery, of Pine Bluff; three sons Neil Barbaree (Kathy) of St. Petersburg, Fla., Justin Barbaree of Redfield, Ark., and Joel Barbaree (Brooke) of Pine Bluff; and five grandchildren; her sister Diane Owen, of Star City; and sister-in-laws Susan Stotler (Gary) of Jacksonville, Ark., and Nell Owen (Randy) of Huntsville, Ala. She also leaves a niece Lottie Owen (Mark) of Star City and nephew Ronnie Barber (Kay) of Pine Bluff, two grand-nephews and five grand-nieces as well as a host of other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends at Robinson’s Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 7, 2013 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Brother J.C.
