SULPHUR SPRINGS — Mary Bell Totty Bridges, 87, of Sulphur Springs, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012.
Born July 3, 1925 at Centerville, Tenn., she was a daughter of the late
James Campbell Totty and Mary Orton Totty.
Mrs. Bridges was a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church
and retired from Ben Pearson after 39 years of service.
Her pastimes included quilting, yard work and spoiling grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years,
Herman E. Bridges, Sr.; eight siblings; daughter, Mary Alice Irvin, and a granddaughter, Myra Bridges.
She is survived by her sons, Herman E. “Gene” Bridges, Jr. and wife Rebecca, Rodger Bridges and wife Dana, and David Bridges and wife Connie; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m Saturday, at Fitzhugh Cemetery with Bro. Billy West officiating.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, at Fuller Hale-South.
