Marie Strahan, 73, of Pine Bluff, Ark., died March 7, 2013, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
She was born February 12, 1940, in Stuttgart, to Ray Clark and Marie Ayres Holbert. Mrs. Strahan was reared and educated in Stuttgart and Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School.
She had attended SEARK and worked as an LPN for several local medical facilities. She was of the Catholic faith, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 40 and the VFW.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Nicholas Horn.
Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Ray Strahan; son, Steven Horn (Tammy); stepson, Bert Strahan of Pine Bluff; grandsons, Christopher Horn (Emily) and their son Bryce, Matthew Horn all of Cabot; several siblings including, Brenda Owen of Little Rock, Pat Luper of Yukon, Okla., and Jerry Holbert of Sheridan.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m., Sunday at Robinson’s. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 11, 2013, Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Brother Mike Poye officiating. Burial at 2:00 p.m., in Old Austin Cemetery, Austin, Ark. Online register at www.ralphrobinsonandson.com .
