Lewis Musgrove


HOUSTON, Texas — Mr. Lewis William Musgrove, 90, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Pine Bluff and White Hall died Wednesday, February 20, 2013, in Houston.

He was born May 8, 1922, in Pine Bluff to Jesse Holland and Bessie Estelle Phillips Musgrove.

He was reared and received his early education in Pine Bluff and White Hall, graduating from White Hall High School in 1939.

Mr. Musgrove served in the U.S. Navy, during WW II. He worked for Curry Pest Control for 54 years, retiring as Superintendent of Pest Control. He was a member of First Baptist Church of White Hall, and the American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Dona Lucille Morrison, and a grandson, Jeffery Scott Robbins.

He is survived by his daughter, Erolyn Robbins of Houston, grandson, Michael Wayne (Joanna) Robbins of Houston, a granddaughter-in-law, Cyndy Robbins of Houston; a brother, Harry Edward Musgrove of St. Louis, Missouri and two great-grandsons.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2013, at White Hall United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Reverend Paul Williams officiating. Burial will be by Ralph Robinson and Son.

The family will receive friends at Robinson’s, Friday evening, 5-7 p.m.
