WHITE HALL — Mrs. Lessie Fielding McBurnett, 89, a resident of White Hall, and formerly of Pine Bluff, died Sunday, December 30, 2012, at White Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born January 26, 1923, in Strawberry, she was a daughter of Robert A. and Minnie Blackwell McCampbell.
Mrs. McBurnett was reared and received her early education in Strawberry. She was a graduate of Strawberry High School. Lessie McCampbell married Arthur Raymond Fielding on June 12, 1947, in Little Rock. She was a sales clerk for Jerry’s Department Store on Main St. in Pine Bluff until her retirement. She was a member of Watson Chapel Baptist Church for thirty years.
Mrs. McBurnett was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Arthur Raymond Fielding, two sisters, and two brothers.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Siverd of Redfield; one son, David Fielding of Hot Springs; one daughter, Tammy Tregre of New Orleans; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Alice Richardson of Batesville; one brother, Robert McCampbell of Strawberry.
There will be no formal visitation but Mrs. McBurnett will lie in state Tuesday, January 1, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 2, 2013, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Brother Jerry Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery by Ralph Robinson & Son.
