Lena Anderson


WHITE HALL — Mrs. Lena Mae Woodfield Anderson, 82, of White Hall died Monday, January 21, 2013 at White Hall Nursing and Rehab.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Pine Bluff, September 30, 1930, to Louis Folden and Edna Bailey Woodfield. She was reared and received her early education in Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School in 1949. She worked for several years as a Chiropractic Assistant to Dr. John Barbaree and Dr. Larry Jernigan.

She was a member of Greenlee Baptist Church, and former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She married Rufus Charlie Anderson, June 1, 1949. He preceded her in death in March 18, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; George Delman Woodfield, Glenn Allen Woodfield, and a sister; Irene Woodfield.

Survivors are her children and their families, Linda Kay Wallace and her husband, Chris; and their boys, Jarrod Anderson Wallace, Jeremy Anderson Wallace, Nicholas Kayden Wallace; Karen Sue Etter and her husband Michael, and their daughter, Jamie Duncan-Chandler and her husband Larry, and their daughter, Alexis Grace.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son, with Reverend James Watson officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, by Ralph Robinson and Son.

The family will receive friends at Robinson’s, Wednesday, 5-7 p.m.
