Lavelle Sprayberry Bell, 95, of Pine Bluff died Friday, January 11, 2013, at Trinity Medical Center, in Pine Bluff.
She was born September 22, 1917 in Pontotoc, Miss., to John Ems and Clara Clay Sprayberry, and later moved to Fouke, Ark. where she went to high school. She married Marvin Vernon Bell, there on May 12, 1936. They moved to Pine Bluff in the early 1940’s.
She was a homemaker and a member of Second Baptist church.
Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Jessie Sprayberry, Henry Sprayberry, and a sister, Mrs. Frances Jones.
Survivors include three sons, Bobby and Teenie Bell, Glenn and Marsha Bell, David and Melissa Bell; one daughter; Donna and David Libby; one sister, Mrs. Harold Askins; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2013, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son, with Dr. Steve Winstead officiating. Burial will be private.
