Lannie Smith Sr.

Mr. Lannie Alvin Smith, Sr., 84, of Pine Bluff passed Thursday, September 27, 2012. He was born in Guensey to the late Elmo and Ruby (Johnson) Smith.

He was a member of Indiana Street Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and Church Treasurer.

Survivors include Wife, Ardenia (Carrigan) Smith of Pine Bluff, sons, Lannie Smith, Jr. of North Little Rock, Dennis Smith of St. Louis, daughter, Gloria Smith-Ealy of North Little Rock; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Indiana Street MBC in Pine Bluff by Rev. Brain Castle. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. with a Family Hour from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

The body will lie in state at the church from 10:15 a.m. until time of service.

The Family will be at 3605 South Virginia Street, Pine Bluff.
