MONTICELLO — Kathy Jo Majors Hawkins, 39, of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at her home. She was born February 19, 1974 in Drew County, Ark.
She was a LPN, graduating from Great Rivers Vo-Tech, working at Delta Regional, Sheiron Family Practice and was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Austin Majors, maternal grandmother, Earline Bates Frost, paternal grandmother, Dorothy Hood Majors, maternal grandfather, Earl Rodney Jackson, paternal grandfather, R.S. Majors.
Survivors include her husband, Christopher Lynn Hawkins of Monticello; children, Lisa Hunter and Johnathon Hunter, both of Star City, Joseph Hunter and Kenny (K. J.) Hunter, both of Monticello and Todd Hawkins of Tillar; her mother, Mary Elizabeth Jackson Tucker and step-father, Winburn Carter Tucker, of Monticello; her siblings, Jerry Majors, Barbara Copeland and Debra Booker, all of Monticello, Robin Massetti of Connecticut, Dana Zygmont of Florida, Gary Merrell Webb of Louisiana, Trudy Tucker Carrington of Texas, Stacey Tucker of Little Rock and Jeff Tucker of Monticello; one grandson, Remington (Remi) Carter Everett.
