MT. IDA — Mrs. Ramona Kathryn Greenlee, age 79, passed away May 19, 2013. She was born April 3, 1934 to the late Will and Lois (Britt) Colvin. She was a Girl Scout Leader and enjoyed cooking and reading. Kathryn was a seamstress who made her daughters wedding dresses and loved nature and flowers and being outdoors. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her lots of joy. Kathryn was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star and a member of Lake Ouachita Baptist Church.
Survivors: Husband of 62 years, Ewel Greenlee; three daughters: Gwen Greenlee Green of Pine Bluff, Ark., Sue Greenlee Blakely of Glenwood, Okla., Cindi Greenlee Lawhon and husband Ricky of Redfield, Ark.; eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; sisters: Sondra Hartt & Mike of Monroe, La., Anne Smith of Witchita, Kansas, Donette Porter of Independence, Mo.; brothers: Fred Colvin & Betty of Dubuch, La., Edger Colvin & Sue of Pine Bluff, Ark.
She is preceded in death by her parents, One brother William Colvin, Infant brother and sister, Grandson John Randolph Blakely. Visitation is 6-8 p.m Tuesday, May 21, 2013 from at Lake Ouachita Baptist Church. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. May 22, 2013 at Lake Ouachita Baptist Church. Pallbearers: Ricky Lawhon, Matthew Lawhon, Nicholas Lawhon, and Timothy Green. Arrangements were made under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home of Mount Ida, Ark.
