WOODLAWN — Mrs. JoAnn Miller, age 71, of the Woodlawn Community, died Monday, November 26, 2012, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. Mrs. Miller was born November 14, 1941, in Cleveland County, a daughter of the late Matthew and Arie Stover Smith.
She was reared and received her education in Cleveland County, graduating from Woodlawn High School.
She was a member of the Rison Pentecostal Church of God, where she also served as Pastor.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Don Miller, Sr., whom she married July 21, 1959, in Pine Bluff; sons, Robert Miller, Jr. and wife, Shirley of South Carolina, Travis Miller and wife, Cindy, of Woodlawn; four grandchildren, Scott Miller and wife, Amanda, Brent Miller and wife, Ashley, of Woodlawn, Kimberly Taylor and husband, Eric, of White Hall, Alisha Selig and husband, Adam, of Austin; seven great-grandchildren, Hunter and Lauren Thompson, Brayden and Xander Miller, Adriana Taylor and Hayden Selig, and Jackson Selig; two sisters, Geneva Peterson of Rison and Joyce Campbell of Pine Bluff; three brothers, Curtis Aud, James Smith and Will Smith and a host of neices, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, November 29, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Charles Woolley officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery.
