Jerry Lee Paul, age 83, of Pine Bluff, died Thursday, June 20, 2013. He was born February 27, 1930 at Higginson (White County), a son of the late Jesse Paul and Dixie Smith Paul. He was reared and educated in White County, and moved to Pine Bluff in 1953.
Mr. Paul had a long career in the milk business, working at numerous dairies, including OK, Dean’s, Sealtest, and Borden’s. He retired in 1986 as sales manager for Coleman Dairy.
A member of Forrest Park Assembly of God, he was also an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, and spending time with his family.
He was also predeceased by a brother, Billy Ray Paul; a great-granddaughter, Christa Pierce; and a daughter-in-law, Gail Paul.
Mr. Paul’s survivors include his wife of 64 years, Irene Fountain Paul, whom he married on April 5, 1949; a daughter, Peggy Robinson (Dave) of Conway; three sons, Geary Paul (Naomi) of Locust Grove, Jerry Dale Paul (Iris) of Fayetteville, and Terry Paul (Gwen) of Rison; three sisters, Shirley Coleman of Searcy, Aretha Smithey of Ward, and Jeannette Simpson of Higginson; ten grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Sunday, 3:00 p.m. at Forrest Park Assembly of God with Brother Paul Pickens and Brother David Dalton officiating. Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.
Visitation will be Saturday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
