WHITE HALL — Mr. James Corbit “Bo” Hale, 68, of White Hall, died Monday, June 10, 2013.
Born March 1, 1945 at Pine Bluff, he was a son of the late W.C. Hale and Willie Mae Lunsford Hale.
“Bo” as he was known by his friends, never met a stranger.
He loved his family and loved life. Whether playing his guitar, writing stories, or outdoors hunting and fishing, Bo was always up for having fun. He especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren participate in their sporting events.
A 1963 graduate of Pine Bluff High and a United States Marine Corps Veteran, Bo retired in 2005 from Varco Pruden after 42 years of service.
He was currently employed by Professional Transportation Incorporated taxiing railroad workers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Brandon Hale; and two brothers, Terry and Billy Ray Hale.
Bo is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Judy Holland Hale, to whom he was married, February 16, 1973; children, Stacie Lawhon (Lance), Stephanie Green (Brian), and Steven Hale (Stacy); siblings, Johnny Hale (Brenda), and Willie Von Denton (Tommy); sister-in-law, Suzie Hale, and 11 grandchildren, Hunter, Aaron, Summer, Dakota, Garrett, Halie, Cody, Tyler, Noah, Ian, Caiden; and many other loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, 10:00 a.m. at Fuller Funeral Chapel with Brother Stephen Harrison officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at the Green residence at other times.
