Mr. George William Law, 68, of the Hardin Community, died Sunday, February 17, 2013.
Born November 21, 1944 at Pine Bluff, he was a son of the late John Law and Mary Reed Law. Mr. Law was a member of First Assembly of God in White Hall and United Steelworkers. He also CO-founded the Hardin Speedway. He left Florida Drum as Plant Manager with more than twenty years of service before retiring in the early 1990’s from F.K.W., a sub-contractor at N.C.T.R. His pastimes included NASCAR, fishin’ and restoring his father’s ’69 GMC.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Jeanette Clark Law, on April 26, 2010; and three brothers, Harold, John and Charles. He is survived by his children, Susan Wolfe (James), Reverend Tim Law (Judy), and James Law (Angie); siblings, Jim, Margaret, Gladys, Beatrice and Gertie; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchidren; companion, Sandra McCann; and many other loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be from 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, at First Assembly of God in White Hall with Rev. Dean Caldwell officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel. Online condolences: FullerFunerals.com
