DALLAS — George B. Killick, 69, of Dallas, Texas, died Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at home. Born in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, the son of Edwin B. and Hazel Hoffman Killick, he was reared in Corpus Christi, Texas, graduating from W. B. Ray High School there in 1961 and from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas in 1965.
Moving to Dallas, he joined E. F. Hutton as a stockbroker. He established Odyssey Creations in 1970, running that company until establishing Apartment Movers in Dallas in 1978.
An Episcopalian, he was a volunteer for UCARE Coton de Tulear Rescue in Dallas.
Survivors include his sister, Karen K. Johnson of Pine Bluff; nephew, Martin Johnson of Pine Bluff; niece, Kathryn Smith (Gary) of Atlanta, Ga.; great-nephews, Harrison and Grant Smith; and longtime best friend, Jane Arrington.
Graveside services are 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 28, Graceland Cemetery in Pine Bluff directed by Ralph Robinson & Son.
