George Cobbs Sr.

Mr. George Cobbs, Sr., 88, of Pine Bluff passed Sunday, December 16, 2012. He was born in Pine Bluff to the late Elisha Cobbs and Martha (Foots) Cobbs.

Survivors include Sons, George Cobbs, Jr. of Lee’s Summit, Mo., Robert Cobbs, Sr. of Pine Bluff, Gary Cobbs, Jerry Cobbs, Sr. both of Kansas City, Mo., Jeromeo Cobbs, Sr. of Frisco, Texas; Daughters, Shirley Hunter of Pine Bluff, Brenda LaGrone of Dallas, Texas; Sister, Alice Lee Craig of Pine Bluff; 17 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren, Two Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Old St. James MBC by Rev. Warren Booker. Burial will be in Cypress Memorial Gardens by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.

Visitation will be from 4:00-6:30p Friday with a Family Hour/Visitation from 5-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

The body will lie in state at the church from 9:15 a.m. until time of service.
