RYE — Mrs. Geneva Curry age 90 of Rye, Ark. died Tuesday, March 19th at the Chapel Woods Nursing Center in Warren, Ark. She was born August 16, 1922 in Rye, Ark. a daughter of the late Robert Benton Adams and Evia Jane Smith Adams. She was a housewife and homemaker, co/owner of Lester Curry Farms in Rye, Ark. and a member of the Union United Methodist Church, where she served in the ladies auxiliary. She loved gardening, quilting, crocheting and the outdoors. Also preceding her in death was her husband Lester Dow Curry whom she married December 24, 1938 and he died October 22, 1978. two daughters Rickie Gavin and Peggy West. two grandchildren Kellye Dawn Curry and Sydney Madison Wade and a brother Terrell Adams preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son Jackie Curry and spouse Dixie, Rye, Ark; six grandchildren Wayne West, Woodlawn, Ark; Jerry and Kim West, White Hall, Ark; Keith and Dana Curry, Warren, Ark; Kristi and Wade McClain, Rye, Ark; Julie and Steve Wade, Broken Arrow, Okla.; and LeAnda and Cobi Cogbill, Fayetteville, Ark. 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and a god daughter Linda Sue Howard and family.
