Freddie Walls


WHITE HALL — Funeral services for Freddie C. Walls, 60, of White Hall, died July 30, will be Saturday 2:30 p.m., True Vine E MBC, 1001 W. 2nd, Rev. Leon Williams, Sr., Pastor.

He was born July 2, 1952 in Sherrill, son of late Levert Woods, mother Jessie M. Walls Woods of Pine Bluff.

He received his education in Altheimer School District and attended college at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Ark, he later transferred to AM&N now UAPB to continue his education, shortly after transferring he was drafted to US Navy in 1972, and served until he received an honorable discharge in 1975. He had worked for Pine Bluff Fire Department, in 1978 he began working for Arkansas Department of Corrections where held several positions. He was Captain at death.

In August 1982 he united in matrimony to his wife, Patricia L. Girley Walls. The union expanded over 29 years.

He was preceded in death by his father Levert Woods.

Survivors wife, Patricia L. Walls, two daughters, KaSheena Walls, Little Rock, Shandress Walls, Pine Bluff, two step children, Terrance Phenix, LaTonya Phenix both of Dallas, Texas, two grandchildren, Trevion Walls, of Pine Bluff, Keaton Walls of Little Rock, mother, Jessie Mae Walls Woods of Pine Bluff, three brothers, Glenn Woods, Robyn Woods both of Little Rock, Kenneth Woods of Pine Bluff, two sisters, Dorothy J. Abraham of Little Rock, Lesia Woods of Pine Bluff, nieces, nephews.

Visitations may be made 6-7 p.m. Friday at True Vine E MBC, 1001 W. 2nd Ave.

Burial will be in Cedar Grove Veteran Section by Perry Funeral Home.
