FLINT, Michigan — Rev. Earnest Lee Girlely, Sr., 60, of Flint, Mich., passed Saturday, February 9, 2013. He was born in Pine Bluff to the late Eugene Girley, Sr. and Mary (Belcher) Girley.
Survivors include wife, Anita (Cook) Girley of Flint, Mich.; Sons, Kwame Staples of Anoka, Minn., Marcell Medford of Tucson, Ariz., Rev. Earnest Girley, Jr. of Little Rock, Treyvon Cook; Daughters, Daline Garris both of Houston, Texas, Sanita Girley of Pine Bluff; Brothers, Ezell Girley of North Little Rock, David Girley, Sr. of Carson, Calif., Rev. Cleophis Girley of Pine Bluff, Albert Girley of Little Rock, Rev. Eugene Girley, Jr. of Pine Bluff, Percy Girley of Wallace, NC; Sisters, Gussie Jackson of Akron, Ohio, Erma Allen, Janice Jones both of Pine Bluff; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
Services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 23, 2013 at New St. Hurricane MBC by Rev. Arthur Hughes. Burial will be in Forrest Lawn Memorial Garden by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
The body will lie in state at the church from 9:45 a.m. until time of service.
The family will be at 3401 Shamrock Drive, Pine Bluff.
