SHERIDAN — Eber Alexander Griffin, 69 of Sheridan, died Monday, September 2, 2013 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
He was born May 15, 1944 in Kingsland to Albert F. and Bessie Adams Griffin.
He was reared and received his early education in Pine Bluff, graduating from Dollarway High School. He lived in Detroit, Mich. for several years, moving back to Pine Bluff area in 1998. He was a US Army Veteran
Survivors are his children, Jason Griffin, Timmy Griffin, Debbie Schultz and Amy Respondek, all of Mich., his step-children, Curt Winn, Eric Winn, Stacey Starr and Leslie Caryl, all of Mich., his siblings, James Griffin, Charles Griffin, Ronnie Griffin, Dorothy Yokley, all of Pine Bluff, and Patsy Joan Woolems of Sheridan, and seven grandchildren.
He was a line worker with the Bundy Corporation. He attended St Luke Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, children, Henry Griffin, Michelle Griffin, siblings, Willie Griffin and Genora Griffin .
Funeral services will 2 p.m. Friday, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son with Reverend Barbara Douglass officiating. Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery by Ralph Robinson and Son.
The family will receive friends at Robinson’s, Thursday evening, 6-8 p.m.
