WHITE HALL — Clasil Edward Blevins, 68, of White Hall passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2013. He was born November 2, 1944 in Pine Bluff to the late Clasil Elbert and Roma Holiman Blevins. He graduated from Dollarway High School. Mr. Blevins worked for Cotton Belt, Southern and UP Railroads for over forty years. Edward loved to hunt, fish and was always ready to help fix things whether it was his or a friends piece of machinery. He never met a stranger and always had time for his extended family. Edward outwardly showed love to his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Jenice Simmons Blevins, whom he married June 22, 2000; sons, Gene (Melinda) Blevins and Joey Blevins all of White Hall; daughter, Melody Blevins of McRae, Ark.; stepchildren, Donny (Sandra) Stewart and Mack (Monica) Stewart; brothers, Charles (Kay) Blevins and Clifford Blevins; grandchildren, Zack (Loren) Blevins, Alex Blevins, Ryder Blevins, Maranda Gray, KJ Gray, Haley Blevins, Kyle Glover, Dylan Glover, Caeley Stewart, Ashley Stewart, Nick Weiner, McKenna McGlasson and Dylan Freeman; three great-grandchildren, Gabe Blevins, Kyzin Gray and Bentley Glover.
There will be no funeral services but the family will be at their home. Funeral arrangements are by Cranford Funeral Home of White Hall.
