Cindy Hodges


WHITE HALL — Cindy Hodges, 44, a resident of White Hall, died Sunday, October 28, 2012, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

Born May 6, 1968, in Pine Bluff, she was a daughter of Joyce West East.

Mrs. Hodges was reared and received her early education in Pine Bluff, graduating from Dollarway High School in 1986. Cindy Renee West married John Hodges, Sr. on February 28, 1987, in Pine Bluff. Mrs. Hodges was a sales associate for Dillard’s Department Store for 19 years. She then worked as a sales associate for J.C. Penney’s Department Store for two years, and for one year as a teller for Simmons First National Bank.

Mrs. Hodges was a member of the Family Church. She loved to do yardwork, crafts, and most of all she loved her family dearly.

Mrs. Hodges was preceded in death by her uncle and aunt, Pete and Georgie West.

Survivors include her husband, John Hodges, Sr. of White Hall; one son, John Hodges, Jr. of White Hall; one daughter, Morgan Hodges of White Hall; her mother and step-father, Joyce and Donald East of Pine Bluff; one twin sister and brother-in-law, Mendy and Dub Taylor of White Hall; many nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2012, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Rev. Stephen Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Hardin Cemetery by Ralph Robinson & Son.
