Charles J. Okle, Jr., 69, of Pine Bluff, Ark., died Saturday, January 12, 2013, in Village Springs Nursing Home in Hot Springs.
He was born October 30, 1943, in Pine Bluff to Charles J. Okle, Sr. and Margaret M. Messner Okle.
Charles graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1961. He spent his career as a radio broadcaster, BMI song writer, music and video producer, photographer, as well as an avid Pine Bluff historian.
He was preceded in death by his parents and Grandmother, Jeanette Messner.
Survivors include his daughter, Stephanie Shaw and son-in law, Aaron of Hot Springs.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Thursday at Robinson’s.
Services will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Paul Perdue officiating.
Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
