Mrs. Carolina Schuh Lawson, 78, of Pine Bluff, died Thursday, February 7, 2013. She was born December 7, 1934, at San Antonio, Texas, a daughter of the Late John C. Schuh and Junita Hernandez Schuh. A 1952 graduate of Southside High School in San Antonio, she moved to Pine Bluff in 2008.
She married Jerry Lawson on October 13, 1954. They lived in many locations, following Mr. lawson’s career in the military, and he predeceased her in 2007.
Also preceding her in death are her daughter, Jerilyn Lawson Kincaid, Four brothers, Raymond, Jimmy, Johnny, and Margarito Schuh, and a sister, Dora Valdez. Mrs. Lawson was a homemaker, and enjoyed volleyball, bowling, and fast-pitch softball.
Her survivors include a Son, Jerry Lawson (Phyllis) of Pine Bluff, Four Sisters, Vera Schuh Hernandez, Genevieve Cantu (Cruz), Mayhelen Turppa (Bill), and Aurora Martinez (Pete); three grandchildren, Janes Nash, Jeffery Padgett, and Jennifer Padgett; two great-grandchildren, Jason Padgett and Micah Padgett; and her beloved cats, Fluffer and Holly.
