WHITE HALL — Bud Robinson, 89, of White Hall, Ark., passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at White Hall Nursing and Rehab.
He was born September 21, 1923, in Casa, Arkansas, to Walter and Ruth Merritt Robinson.
As a young child he lived in Casa, then later in life moved to California, then back to Altheimer and White Hall
Bud had worked as a farmer and then became self-employed as an auctioneer for 40 years before retiring. With the help of family he operated Robinson Auction Company in Pine Bluff.
He enjoyed hunting, raising cattle, visiting and fellowshipping with all the auction patrons.
He was a member of Watson Chapel Baptist Church and a Mason.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Robinson whom he married on March 26, 1964; sons, Tracy Robinson (Shannon), Eddie Robinson (Dolores) both of White Hall; daughters, Kelly Robinson of Little Rock; Tana Perdue (David) of White Hall; grandchildren, Hannah and Hope Robinson, Kessler, Blair and Alexander Perdue.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Robinson’s.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 19, 2013, Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son, with Reverend Todd Howard officiating.
Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery.
