WHITE HALL — Brother Bobby Ray Hartsfield age 69, of White Hall, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 19, 2013.
He was born March 20, 1944 at Crossett, a son of the late Elmore Roland Hartsfield and Estelle Ellison Hartsfield. He moved to Pine Bluff as a child, and graduated from Watson Chapel High School in 1963. He also served in the Arkansas National Guard for several years.
Brother Bobby worked for the Cotton Belt Railroad for 28 years as a welder in the Car Department. For 33 years, he was the pastor of Shannon Road Baptist Church.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Roland Hartsfield and Kenneth Hartsfield.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Curtis Hartsfield, whom he married on November 26, 1965; two sons, Phillip Hartsfield and Gary Wayne Hartsfield; a daughter, Misty Hartsfield Magel and husband Packy; a brother Leon Hartsfield; two sisters, Joyce Smith and Jeannie Eastwood; three grandchildren, Spencer Magel, Anna Claire Magel, and Brycen Magel: along with many other loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, 1:00 p.m. at Shannon Road Baptist Church with Brothers Gene Triplett and Allen Elkins officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.
Brother Bobby’s nephews will serve as Pallbearers and the Deacons of Shannon Road Baptist Church will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5-7 p.m. at the church.
