Betty McEntire


WHITE HALL — Betty D. McEntire, 57, of White Hall, died Sunday at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She was born April 11, 1956, in Sherrill to the late Herbert Gray and Orpie Lee Culliford McEntire. She was the Administrative Secretary for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, employed by Jefferson County for 16 years, was a graduate of Star City High School and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors includes one daughter, Dr. April Davidson Cambre and husband Carson of Greenwich, R.I.; three brothers, Ronald Lee McEntire, Michael Lynn McEntire, William Herbert McEntire, all of Star City; one sister, Judith Sloan of Hot Springs and two grandchildren, Jordan Cambre and Alexandria Cambre.

Funeral Services are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Bro. Pete Kiefhaber and Bro. Robert Green officiating. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial at Leek Cemetery. Pallbearers are deputies of Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 320 Executive Court, Ste. 104, Little Rock, AR 72205.
