Anna Rowland, age 89, of Pine Bluff, died Sunday, November 4, 2012.
Born August 5, 1923 at Hamburg, she was a daughter of the late Jackson Van Buren Stone and Anna Elizabeth Riley Stone, and was a graduate of Hamburg High School.
During World War II, Mrs. Rowland worked for the United States Government in Washington, DC and later in Atlanta, Ga. She moved to Pine Bluff in the 1970’s.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, and was also predeceased by two husbands, Cecil Rowley and J. D. Hodge; along with several brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Rowland is survived by husband, Charles Rowland, whom she married on June 26, 2001; daughter, Becky Baughn; sister, Agnes Adair; granddaughter, Leigh Baughn; step-children, Chuck Rowland and Midge McBride; along with a large number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, in Oakland Cemetery at Monticello with Rev. David Fleming officiating. Arrangements by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.
