Alvin Cornelius Lee, 37, of Pine Bluff, Ark., passed away June 20, 2013 in Pine Bluff. He was born May 26, 1976 in Pine Bluff. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Lee of Pine Bluff.
Alvin graduated from Watson Chapel High School and attended Southeast Arkansas College. He was a pianist at Grace and Mercy Baptist Church in Pine Bluff where he was a member and deacon.
To cherish his memories are his wife, Marian Shayla Evans-Lee; three sons, Brandon and Taylor Lee and Jeremiah Evans James; one daughter, Taylinn Lee; his parents Johnny and Willie Beatrice Lee all of Pine Bluff; one brother, Glen (Valerie) Scott of Mt. Sterling, Ky.; one sister Trena Sims of Pine Bluff. He is also survived by his grandmother, Mrs. Rosie L. Tate, his godparents, Freddie and Flozell Lee, and his god sister Jazzy Williams all of Pine Bluff.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Barraque Street Missionary Baptist Church, 1800 West Pullen Avenue in Pine Bluff by Rev. Learthur Shelton. Burial will be in Forrest Lawn Memorial Garden by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7 p.m. with a Family Hour/Visitation from 6-7 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. The body will lie in state Friday at the church from 10:15 a.m. until service time. Online Register: www.brownfuneralhomeandmortuary.com.
