LITTLE ROCK — A Stuttgart couple bought a lottery ticket on the way to a fishing outing at Greers Ferry Lake last weekend, and another on their way home.

Both were winners, and Stephen and Terri Weaver claimed prizes of $1 million and $50,000 on Monday, state lottery officials said.

Both tickets were purchased at T-Ricks convenience store in Pangburn. Stephen Weaver bought a $1 Million Riches scratch-off ticket and won $1 million. On the way home, Terri Weaver bought a Taxes Paid scratch-off ticket and won $50,000.

They claimed their prizes at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery’s claim center in Little Rock. They said they plan to pay bills and invest in their retirement, according to lottery officials.
