Governor announces 24 appointments


LITTLE ROCK — Gov. Mike Beebe appointed two prosecutors Monday, along with 22 others to state boards and commissions.

The appointments included:

— Dr. Matthew Pelkki of Monticello replaces Robert Weih on the Arkansas State Board of Registration for Foresters. His appointment expires July 18, 2015.

— Stephen Shirron of Malvern replacing Eddy Easley as prosecuting attorney for the 7th Judicial District. Easley was recently elected circuit judge. Shirron’s appointment is effective Jan. 1 and expires Dec. 31, 2014.

— Ian Vickery of El Dorado replaces Robin Carroll as prosecuting attorney for 13th Judicial District. Carroll was recently elected circuit judge. Vickery’s appointment is effective Jan.1 and expires Dec. 31, 2014.

— Kimberly W. Arnold of Conway reappointed to the Children’s Behavioral Health Care Commission. Her appointment expires Aug. 15, 2015.

— James “Wiley” Blansett of Searcy replaces Joe Jett on the Arkansas Department of Aeronautics Commission. His appointment expires Nov. 9, 2017.

— Donna Casparian of Hot Springs replaces Mary Jane Rebick on the Board of Visitors for the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts. Her appointment expires Jan. 14, 2016.

— Bobby Davis of Batesville reappointed to the Arkansas Fire Protection Services Board. His appointment expires Oct. 14, 2015.

— Steven Domon of Little Rock reappointed to the Children’s Behavioral Health Care Commission. His appointment expires Aug. 15, 2015.

— Dexter Doyne of College Station reappointed to the Arkansas Building Authority Council. His appointment expires July 22, 2015.

— Jonathan Dunkley of North Little Rock replaces Marvin Alexander on the Children’s Behavioral Health Care Commission. His appointment expires Aug. 15, 2015.

— David Glover of Hampton reappointed to the Arkansas Department of Aeronautics Commission. His appointment expires Nov. 9, 2017.

— J.R. Gurnsey of Hampton replaces Darrell Donaldson on the Ouachita River Commission. His appointment expires Sept. 1, 2019.

— Tim Hill of Springdale replaces Donna Adkins on the Arkansas Local Police and Fire Retirement System Board of Trustees. His appointment expires Jan. 1, 2016.

— Chris Jones of Imboden reappointed to the Arkansas Fire Protection Services Board. His appointment expires Oct. 14, 2015.

— Deborah Kirby of Little Rock replaces David Malone on the State Library Board. Her appointment expires Oct. 18, 2019.

— Buddy Ledford of Fayetteville reappointed to the Arkansas Fire and Police Pension Review Board. His appointment expires Jan. 1, 2016.

— Weston Lewey of Forrest City replaces Ron Killingsworth on the Mississippi River Parkway Commission. His appointment expires June 8, 2016.

— The Honorable John Martin of Brinkley reappointed Delta Cultural Center Policy Advisory Board. His appointment expires Oct. 1, 2015.

— David Maxwell of Arkadelphia replaces Randall Mathis on the Criminal Detention Facility Review Committee, 9th Judicial District East. His appointment expires Jan. 14, 2016.

— Bill Morgan of Paragould reappointed to the Arkansas Department of Aeronautics Commission. His appointment expires Nov. 9, 2017.

— Walter Nixon III of Jacksonville to the Arkansas Development Finance Authority. His appointment is effective Jan. 1 and expires Jan. 14, 2015.

— Gary Pugh of Pocahontas reappointed to the Arkansas Scenic Resources Preservation Coordinating Committee. His appointment expires Oct. 1, 2016.

— Margie Saul of DeValls Bluff replaces Don Burrows on the Arkansas Agriculture Board. Her appointment expires Aug. 15, 2016.

— Jim Tolewitzke of Brookland reappointed to the Arkansas Fire Protection Services Board. His appointment expires Oct. 14, 2015.
