Beebe announces 43 appointments to boards, commissions


LITTLE ROCK — Gov. Mike Beebe announced 43 appointments to state boards and commissions Wednesday.

Those appointed:

• Greg Revels, De Queen, to the Arkansas Higher Education Board. Appointment expires May 1, 2018. Appointee replaces David Leech.

• Pat Audirsch, Marianna, to the Mississippi River Parkway Commission. Appointment expires June 8, 2015. Appointee replaces Lois Boyd.

• Jim Baker, Conway, to the Arkansas State Claims Commission. Appointment expires Jan. 15, 2017. Appointee replaces Bishop Steven Arnold.

• Charley Baxter, North Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas Development Finance Authority. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2017.

• Aubrey Blackmon, Houston, reappointed to the Arkansas Beef Council. Appointment expires March 30, 2016.

• Shirley Bolden-Bruce, Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas State Board of Architects, Landscape Architects, and Interior Designers. Appointment expires April 26, 2018.

• Anthony Brooks, Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas Development Finance Authority. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2017.

• Curt Calaway, Fayetteville, reappointed to the State Kidney Disease Commission. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2017.

• Patty Cardin, El Dorado, to the South Arkansas Community College Board of Trustees. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2018. Appointee replaces Sherrel Johnson.

• Veronica Creer, El Dorado, reappointed to the South Arkansas Community College Board of Trustees. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2018.

• Jamie Darling, Tuckerman, to the Arkansas Humanities Council. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2015. Appointee replaces Clark Trim.

• Harold Dean, Little Rock, to the Social Work Licensing Board. Appointment expires June 30, 2014. Appointee replaces Nancy Streit-Atkinson.

• Stephen Donnelly, Elkins, to the Arkansas Fair Housing Commission. Appointment expires Feb. 1, 2016. Appointee replaces Shanna Allen.

• Mike Ellis, Hot Springs, to the Alcohol Beverage Control Board. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2017. Appointee replaces Tony Ellis.

• Roger Fitzgibbon Jr., Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas Independent Living Council. Appointment expires Feb. 1, 2016.

• Lynn Foster, Roland, reappointed to the Commission on Uniform State Laws. Appointment expires April 30, 2017.

• Lynn Hawkins, Lexa, to the Arkansas Rural Development Commission. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2015. Appointee replaces Wayne Nichols.

• Paulette Hill, Mountain Home, reappointed to the Arkansas Division of Volunteerism Advisory Council. Appointment expires Jan. 7, 2016.

• Robyn Horn, Camden, reappointed to the Arkansas Independent Living Council. Appointment expires Feb. 1, 2016.

•Bood Keathley, Danville, to the Arkansas Rural Development Commission. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2017. Appointee replaces Tony Ferguson.

• Judge Michael Loftin, El Dorado, reappointed to the Arkansas Waterways Commission. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2020.

•Rajesh Mehta, Little Rock, to the Arkansas State Board of Architects, Landscape Architects and Interior Designers. Appointment expires April 26, 2018. Appointee replaces Cora Bradshaw.

• Molly Miller, Little Rock, to the Arkansas Division of Volunteerism Advisory Council. Appointment expires Jan. 7, 2016. Appointee replaces James Brandenburg.

• Julie Mills, Little Rock, to the Arkansas Development Finance Authority. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2017. Appointee replaces Jerry Webster.

• Carlos Nagel, Alma, to the Boiler Advisory Board. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2017. Appointee replaces Bill McCoy.

• Allen Stewart, Mena, reappointed to the Arkansas Beef Council. Appointment expires March 30, 2016.
