Several local agencies have announced their closing schedules in observance of Thanksgiving Day:

• Pine Bluff Schools - Closed Wednesday-Friday

• Southeast Arkansas College - Closed Wednesday-Friday

• University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff - Closed Thursday -Friday

Financial institutions

• Bank of America - Closed Thursday

• Simmons First National Bank - Closed Thursday

• Pine Bluff National Bank - Closed Thursday

• Bank of Star City - Closed Thursday

• Pine Bluff Cotton Belt Credit Union - Closed Thursday-Friday

• Fairfield Federal Credit Union - Closed Thursday-Friday

• Pine Bluff Arsenal Federal Credit Union - Closed Thursday-Friday

• Pine Federal Credit Union- Closed Thursday-Friday

•FBT Bank & Mortgage (formerly White Hall Financial Center and Watson Chapel Financial Center) - Closed Thursday

Federal facilities

• All federal offices - Closed Thursday

• U.S. Postal Service - Closed Thursday

• Jefferson County Courthouse and related offices - Close Wednesday at 2 p.m.; closed Thursday-Friday.

• Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Library System - Closed Thursday-Saturday

• Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Historical Museum - Closed Thursday-Friday

• Pine Bluff Convention Center & Visitors Bureau - Closed Thursday-Friday

• Pine Bluff City Hall and related city offices - Closed Thursday-Friday

• White Hall City Hall - Closed Thursday-Friday

Community agencies

• Department of Human Services - Closed Thursday-Friday

• Jefferson County Health Department - Closed Thursday-Friday

• Jefferson Comprehensive Care System - Closed Thursday-Friday

• Southeast Arkansas Chapter of Red Cross - Closed Thursday-Friday

• United Water Co. - Closed Thursday-Friday

• Area Agency on Aging of Southeast Arkansas - office closed Thursday; senior centers closed Thursday and Friday; SEAT transportation will run on Friday.

• Pine Bluff Transit - Closed Thursday

• Waste Management of Arkansas - Closed Thursday; garbage truck routes running one day behind.

• Arts and Science Center for Southeast Arkansas - Closed Thursday-Saturday

• Dexter Harding House - Closed Thursday-Friday
