A Pine Bluff woman was arrested Thursday afternoon after she allegedly threatened to kill a man in front of police officers.
Abigail Pritchett, 47, allegedly made the threats after she and another woman allegedly chased the man from the Crown Motel at Fifth Avenue and Walnut Street to the Bank of America at Fifth Avenue and Pine Street, Detective Brad Vilches said in a probable-cause affidavit.
The affidavit said the man ran into the bank yelling for employees to call 9-1-1, and when police arrived, the man said Pritchett had threatened him with a gun.
Pritchett, who was found sitting in a vehicle with another woman, allegedly yelled “I’m going to kill you” while police were questioning the man.
The second woman, who was not identified during the court hearing, was arrested on misdemeanor charges.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $25,000 bond for Pritchett after ruling that prosecutors had probable cause to charge her with terroristic threatening and aggravated assault.
Bridgforth also ordered Pritchett to have no contact with the alleged victim until the case is settled, and told her to come back to court June 28.
