A Pine Bluff woman was arrested early Wednesday morning after she allegedly shot her boyfriend during a domestic dispute at a residence in the 900 block of West 28th Avenue.
Jefferson County District Judge John L. Kearney ruled Thursday that prosecutors had probable cause to charge Hope Hayes, 38, with first degree domestic battery.
The Pine Bluff Police Department responded to the incident and found the victim with non-life threatening gunshot wounds to his right arm and his right side at approximately 1:15 a.m. Wednesday.
Kearney set a $50,000 bond for Hayes, who said would hire her own attorney.
Kearney told Hayes to return to court Sept. 27 and ordered her to have no contact with her boyfriend until the case is settled.
