Police are investigating a Sunday shooting that sent a man to the hospital with nine gunshot wounds.
Jarmar Williams was in critical condition at 9 a.m. Monday at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, according to a press release from Pine Bluff Police Department spokeswoman Regina VonTungeln.
Police were called at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday to the 600 block of South Belmont Drive. When they arrived, they found Williams lying on the ground.
Two men — one of whom lives at the location — were taken in for questioning, VonTungeln said. Detectives are continuing to follow leads as part of the investigation.
