Three Pine Bluff men were arrested early Thursday morning after shots were fired at a house in the Dollarway area.
Cordero Aytch, 22; Stancio Shelton, 23; and Randall Bowers, 30; were taken into custody after they were found in a vehicle at a convenience store in the same area, Deputy Prosecutor Maxie Kizer said during a court hearing Friday.
Detective Steven Rucker said in a probable-cause affidavit that three men came to the house at 51 S. Richard Drive to talk to a resident, and while there, one of the men got into a physical altercation with the resident.
Kizer said the men told the resident they would be back and would “have something for him.”
Rucker said residents of the house told police that after the men left, they saw two cars driving slowly down the street and shots were fired from the second car, a blue Toyota. Several expended shell casings were found at the scene.
Kizer said Aytch, Shelton and Bowers were seen on surveillance video from the Exxon station on Dollarway Road getting out of one car and getting into the other. The first car drove away when police arrived and Rucker said in the affidavit that no weapons were found in the car containing Aytch, Shelton and Bowers.
At Kizer’s request, Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $50,000 cash-only bond for Aytch and Shelton, and a $50,000 secured bond for Bowers.
Kizer asked for the cash only bonds after telling the court both Aytch and Shelton have prior convictions and are both on probation. Bowers has no prior convictions.
Bridgforth also ordered all three men to have no contact with the alleged victim until the case is settled, and told them to come back to court Sept. 5.
