Reported armed disturbance leads to arrest

A Pine Bluff woman was arrested Friday night after she allegedly pointed a gun at a juvenile.

Detective Jacqueline Stevenson said in a probable cause affidavit that Erica Mixon, 27, allegedly got into an argument with the juvenile female at 10:13 p.m. outside an apartment in the 2100 block of Woodlawn Drive.

The alleged victim told police she was outside talking to several males when Mixon “started to talk crazy to her” then pulled the gun and waved it around.

Stevenson said in the affidavit that several witnesses were present and confirmed the alleged victim’s version of the events.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $5,000 bond for Mixon after ruling prosecutors had probable cause to charge her with aggravated assault.

Bridgforth also ordered Mixon to have no contact with the alleged victim and told her to come back to court May 13.
