A report of a disturbance at a house in Redfield Saturday resulted in the arrest of a woman who allegedly injured an elderly member of her family.
Alexandria Scott, 18, allegedly hit the woman, resulting in injuries to her forearm and thigh, Redfield Police Detective Terri Patterson reported in a probable cause affidavit.
Deputy Prosecutor Maxie Kizer said Redfield Police had investigated three prior incidents involving Scott and the elderly victim previously.
Scott reportedly told police she and the victim had gotten into an altercation over a cell phone.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $25,000 bond for Scott after ruling prosecutors had probable cause to charge her with second-degree domestic battery.
Kearney appointed the Public Defender’s Office to represent Scott, and told her to come back to court Dec. 17.
