An investigation into a reported shooting incident in mid-January led to the arrest of a Pine Bluff man on Thursday after the alleged victim identified the man from a photo lineup.

Christopher Robinson, 36, allegedly fired several shots at a car in the area of Miramar and Blake streets, hitting the vehicle six times, Detective Larry Gailey said in a probable cause affidavit.

Gailey said the incident occurred at about 8 p.m. on Jan. 12 when the victim said he was at Miramar and Blake atreets when a burgundy Highlander pulled up beside him and the driver, a man he knew by the street name of “Triggerman” began shooting at him.

The victim told police that he and “Triggerman” had been involved in an altercation at P.J.’s Nightclub a couple of weeks earlier.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $50,000 bond for Robinson after ruling that prosecutors had probable cause to charge him with committing a terroristic act and criminal mischief.

Kearney also ordered Robinson to have no contact with the alleged victim and told him to come back to court March 15.
