Police looking for man on stolen credit card allegations

Pine Bluff police are asking for help in locating a man wanted for allegedly breaking into two vehicles and using credit cards stolen from the vehicles.

Pine Bluff Police Department Lt. JoAnn Bates said Toney Jamar Gilbert, 22, is also wanted for questioning by Little Rock police in connection with a number of vehicle break-ins that have occurred since Oct. 1, 2012.

Bates said two separate police reports were filed on Nov. 13 regarding vehicles that had been broken into, and Gilbert allegedly used credit cards that had been in the vehicles.

There are two active warrants for Gilbert’s arrest on charges of theft by receiving, and police said additional charges are pending.

Gilbert is a black male, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, whose last known address was 1609 W. 25th Ave., in Pine Bluff.
