A Pine Bluff man was stabbed and a second arrested early Saturday morning after a reported disturbance in the 1800 block of South Oak Street.
Eugene King, 25, allegedly stabbed Sidney Moore after an altercation between the two, Detective Jacqueline Stevenson said in a probable-cause affidavit presented in court Monday.
According to the affidavit, King attempted to push Moore out of the house and the two started to fight. During the fight, King allegedly stabbed Moore in the left arm.
Moore refused medical treatment, the affidavit from Stevenson said.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $25,000 bond for King after ruling that prosecutors had probable cause to charge him with second-degree battery.
Kearney also ordered King to have no contact with Moore until the case is settled, and told him to come back to court July 1.
The Public Defender’s Office was appointed to represent King.
