A $50,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff woman who allegedly had improper contact with a minor.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors had probable cause to charge Lydia Gulley, 20, with first-degree sexual assault.
Deputy Prosecutor Rik Ramsey said the victim’s mother contacted police and reported that Gulley had inappropriate sexual contact with her 14-year-old daughter.
In addition to setting the bond, Bridgforth ordered Gulley to have no contact with the victim until the case is settled and to come back to court Sept. 14.
Gulley said she would hire her own attorney.
