Bond set in alleged rape

A $50,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man accused of raping a 6-year-old boy.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling that prosecutors had probable cause to charge Harold Falcon, 19, with rape.

Deputy Prosecutor Maxie Kizer said the alleged incident occurred June 9, and the alleged victim reported the incident to a relative who contacted police.

Detective Michael Roberts said in a probable-cause affidavit that the alleged victim was taken to the Children’s Advocacy Center where a medical examination was performed and he was interviewed.

Falcon was arrested Friday afternoon.

In addition to setting the bond, Bridgforth ordered Falcon to have no contact with the alleged victim until the case is settled.
